On Septemeber 25 - 27th 20 WMS band students joined 100 other middle school and high school students from Healdsburg, Sonoma, Sebastopol and Middletown for a weekend of fun and music. We enjoyed some warm fall days and cool nights sleeping under the stars. On Friday night, we had a bonfire and ate s'mores. On Saturday night the students were treated to a concert by the directors and mentors as well as watching a movie. We did have many hours of rehearsal and sectionals so that we could prepare the challenging music for our Sunday concert. Many thanks to our chaperones David Garland and Stefanie Hirayama for making this trip possible. I can't until next year!
