WMS Band Students Shine at Sonoma County Honor Band Festival

Ten of Windsor Middle School's most outstanding band students were selected to play in the 2017 Sonoma County Middle School Honor Band on January 27th and 28th.  Now in it's 23d year, the Sonoma County Middle School Honor Band draws the best middle school musicians from around the county for an intensive 10 hours of rehearsal over two days.  The festival  culminates with an amazing performance by both the Middle School Honor Band and the High School Honor Band at Weill Hall on the Sonoma State University campus.  This year's SCMS Honor Band conductor was Bobby Rogers, an award winning conductor and teacher from the Sacramento Area.  Congratulations to all of our performers and to the additional nominees from Windsor Middle School:  Carter Daniel, Alec Ochoa, David Kvamme, Patrick Pring, Sebastian Pimentel, Trenton Gromm and Carson Elkins.  WMS is proud of you!!!
