Earth Day Performance at the Town Green April 19th at 10:00 A.M.

We're so excited to be able to play at the Windsor Town Green for Earth Day.  We will be playing at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday April 19th, 2015.  We set up on the "stage" which is adjacent to the Windsor Public Library on the Town Green and will play for about 1/2 hour.  The WMS Strings group will be performing after us.  We performed at the ceremony last year, in lieu of PERFORMING at Discovery Kingdom.  WE WILL STILL BE TAKING A TRIP TO DISCOVERY KINGDOM ON MAY 16TH.  After many years of dragging our instruments, music and music stands, percussion equipment, etc through the park to perform amidst the roller coasters and crowd noise while no one paid any attention, we are delighted to have a much easier and friendlier venue for performance!!  This way, our local community can hear the group, and we can enjoy the day at Discovery Kingdom without the logistical nightmare of trying to play there, as well.   Students who plan on attending our Discovery Kingdom trip should plan on playing with us at the Earth Day Celebration.  It will be a lot of fun!!  More information about the Town of Windsor's Earth Day Celebration can be found here.
